We register legal entities in the Czech Republic. Contact us if you are interested, and we will provide detailed information.

What Does "společník" Mean in the Structure of a Czech Legal Entity?

Společník is a member (shareholder) of a Czech company. This is the person or legal entity that directly owns a business share in a Czech legal entity. The member is entitled to a share of the company's profits proportionate to the business share they own. The members themselves appoint and remove representatives of other bodies of Czech legal entities, such as directors, holders of procuration (prokurista), etc.

A member of a Czech legal entity can be any natural person or legal entity. This may be a citizen of any country or a legal entity from any country, with no restrictions or special requirements whatsoever (for example, there is no requirement to hold a long-term visa for the Czech Republic).

The financial liability of members of Czech legal entities varies depending on the type of legal entity. In the vast majority of cases, liability is limited to the amount of registered capital contributed to the legal entity by the member.
